Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at The Nest was absolutely delightful! The rooms were clean, unique, and truly comfortable—far exceeding our expectations for a hostel. The location was perfect for scenic walks along The Prom into Galway City, and the staff really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. My only slight critique would be the laundry dryer that took longer than we had hoped. Overall, it was fantastic value for money and a place we would definitely love to return to.
This boutique hotel offers a charming atmosphere with modern decor and cleanliness that truly impressed me. It's conveniently located just a short walk from the central attractions and has excellent coffee in its on-site café. However, the shower could use some improvement, as it turns off too often, which was quite frustrating. Overall, it provided great value for money, especially considering the comfortable accommodations and friendly service.
I had a fantastic stay at The Nest in Salthill. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it feel like home immediately. The staff could not have been more accommodating, and I loved having access to tea and coffee whenever I wanted. The location is great for both exploring Salthill and easily walking into Galway city. However, while the dorms provide privacy with curtains, some may prefer a more traditional room setup. Overall, it was an incredible value for the price, and the breakfast was definitely worth the extra cost.
I had a fantastic family stay at this hotel! The location was perfect for visiting nearby attractions, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our experience even better. However, I did find the two connected rooms a bit small for our family of four, and while the breakfast options were good, having more variety would have been nice.
I had a wonderful time at the hostel, which is beautifully decorated and has a modern feel that makes it stand out. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the atmosphere felt very inviting, almost like home. The dorm rooms were clean and comfortable, though the bathroom showers could be a bit annoying to operate. Breakfast was delicious and great value for money, but if you prefer more privacy, it’s good to know they also offer private rooms. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a budget stay especially with its proximity to the beach and restaurants.
